Jambox Shred Gear is a snowboard clothing company based in Northern Minnesota. Started by a small group of friends with a passion for art and snowboarding, they advocate buying local and are frustrated with the wasteful, profit-driven, corporate tyranny of the snowboard industry. The idea behind the identity is to juxtapose their do-it-yourself, handmade aesthetic with a corporate feel. Straight, rigid typography, bold graphics, and grid systems were used to produce a clean, memorable brand and a satirical take on their ideals.
