My thesis project was to design a corporate identity for a contemporary art museum in Italy called MAGA, Museo Arte Gallarate. After having renewed their logo recently the museum needed an update to their visual identity matching the style of the new logo.
The concept for the whole visual identity is a pattern made from the negative space surrounding the symbol of the logo. The pattern is then applied on editorial applications, merchandises, digital applications, staff uniforms and used as a guideline for the sign system inside the museum. The only exception is the stationary design which is designed without the pattern in in the main two colors of the museum in order to keep it professional and sophisticated.
For digital publishing the pattern is animated and builds up until the screen is full and then the information appears.
A bold design with a bit of play to it.
